What happens to the AMM Pre-Sale Funds?
The AMM of $AB has 128M focus tokens. See here
My Math tells me that this is worth at least $70K at the current price of $focus.
Part of this is used to bid for tokens on the Buy Side by the AMM. But it's a small fraction of it. Less than 20% of it (around $13K).
So what happens to the remaining 80% of the Funds raised by the Pre-Sale. It is not just about this $50K. With just 20 more launches, this will be more than a million $. And the only ones who have control to these AMM accounts is the Core Team.
We need to get clarity on this as stakeholders of the protocol.
PS: I am not trying to question the intent of the core team. But, this is one where anyone getting into any pre-sale or anyone launching a token needs to know before they launch their token. If everything extra invested by my supporters is going to sit in the core team's kitty, I may not launch a token, but may do a Pre-Sale. We just need to know how this extra money will be used. e.g. It might just be used to beef up the buy-side which will give more confidence to holders to stick on.
Tagging a few big stakeholders who I assume have more influence than I so that they can help get some answers. Repost if you agree and ask for clarity as a stakeholder even if you hold 1 DESO or 1 Focus.
Edit - Additional Information:
$AMurloc pointed this out to me in the group that @nader had replied to this question earlier. I do remember reading this comment from Nader and also replying there that the only right answer here is to give the money to the Creator or even better to his Holders either via BuyNBurn, Fatter Buy-Orders or Airdrops. I was surprised by the extent of the Delta Amount here. e.g. The $AB AMM has nearly 0.1% of all Focus Holdings ($70K) and the $0xWallStreetBets AMM has nearly 0.05% of all AMM Focus Holdings (around $30K)
