PEACE FOR AI vs. REAL ART. PUBLIC NFT 👻 STORAGE IS #ANONYMOUS POSSESION*
❗ A serious problem of mass NFT creations has expanded in ratio at a rate of over 1,000 to 1 between AI generated NFTs and Artist's minting authentic handcrafted artwork. Since AI images can be created in minutes it has increased devaluation of AI generated artwork minted into NFTs at a reverse rate of over 1 in 1,000+ holding any value with the nonexistent gas fees on DeSo. This problem is exasperated if the AI NFT creator discontinues activity to cause rendering of the AI image essentially worthless and thus has been rapidly destroying hope for any secondary market entry or integration, let alone making any sales.
🤷♂️ This has also caused NFT collectors or investors who want to maintain ownership of NFTs they have purchased (AI created or not) to not want these devalued NFTs displaying or showing in their gallery (every NFT each user owns shows systemwide on blockchain), and in turn has been causing collectors or investors to search for a solution to hide ownership of the AI artwork, while not wanting to sell at a loss, discard or burn an AI generated artwork minted into NFTs just to try and hide owning them, thus the solution to 'stash' any such NFTs by transferring*¹ them to @NFTstash was born.
🎯 When multiple NFTs of an inactive AI creator are stored in the NFTstash #gallery it shows a notification to the NFT creator that #NFTstash is one of or the top NFT holder on the creator's account. The goal of this account is a collective community effort to entice inactive AI NFT creators to engage and reiterate some value by returning themselves back to an active status thus adding value back into their AI generated images. Storage of NFTs on NFTstash may further act as a warning to NFT shoppers that the NFT was minted by a creator that is no longer active, potentially saving them the purchase of the same burden.
👍 NFTstash also adds a layer of anonymous possession*² or storage while the collectors or investors maintain their ownership*² of the NFTs. This is also useful for storing any 'Welcome to DeSo' #bot generated NFTs forced on users when creating a DeSo account, #airdrop or #gift NFTs a user doesn't want in their gallery or collection, or to store controversial artwork or content (e.g., #political, #religious, #adult, etc.) which may reflect negatively or act as a 'conflict-of-interest' back on the users, collectors or investors possessing it, but do not wish to potentially offend the creator by giving away, selling below an established value, discarding or burning them (for whatever reason*¹).
NFT CREATORS 👀
🎨 Any creator who minted an NFT stored here can ask the collectors or investors (owner/buyer) of the NFT to transfer*² the NFT back to the account of the owner or buyer who stored the NFT(s) here, or to transfer the NFT(s) to another account as the owner or buyer desires. This account will not respond to or process any action at the request of anyone who did not transfer an NFT in question, including the creator who minted the NFT (unless it is a request from the NFT creator having made the transfer to store the NFT here).
📢 An automated DeSo system notification written to the blockchain indicating a change of any given NFT custody will be the only notification and the only response*³ once a transfer to, from or out of the NFTstash gallery has been completed. NFTstash will not get involved in any communication between any owner, buyer, collector, investor and the original NFT creator or any user claiming to be representative thereof.
🚫 Any copy of an image (AI, genuine art, or photograph) minted into an NFT proven to contain forged or stolen content (with evidence provided) transferred to NFTstash will be sent to @ScamNFTtrashbin*³ and assumed lost.
🕵️♂️ Any NFT received that was minted by a creator being investigated by @ScamHunters_inc*³ will be transferred back to the user having first transferred the NFT here. While NFTstash expects any listings to not be complete (or assured of total accuracy) a list of creators and users being investigated for nefarious activity on DeSo is located in the 'Following' tab of ScamHunters_inc.
*DISCLAIMERS
📂 This is a storage-only account and will not post, interact¹ or respond² except in private or direct messaging with the users who maintain ownership of the NFTs stored at #NFTstash and only for the purpose of request of the NFTs being returned to them or transferred to another account per the user's or owner's direction (the DM section is only checked once or twice per month and only on the original @Bitclout DM system (all apps and nodes besides the DeSo core team 'group messaging' system on the core team Diamond interface still use the original #Bitclout DM system).
¹ This account does not own or collect any NFT artwork stored in it, nor does this account want to receive any ownership of any NFT artwork; if an NFT creator airdrops to this account the NFT(s) will be returned to its point of origin as soon as discovered or transferred to another more appropriate account (e.g., if the NFT is a part of or associate with a group or team effort).
² This account has no authority over what other users do with the NFTs they own, collect or receive. This account will not respond to any inquiry about any NFT stored here other than maybe a brief communication with the owner who made the transfer directly and only for purpose of the owner directing their NFT to be transferred back to them or to another account.
³ This account is independently created and operated by #Bitclout OG users not associated with DeSo, the DeSo core team or any anti-scam reporting users, accounts or groups (e.g., #ScamNFTtrashbin, #ScamHunters_inc, @DeSoScams, #WhatsMy, etc.) and in the event this service and account is scheduled to be abandoned any and all NFTs stored here will be transferred back to the owner who made the transfer.
Footnotes:
NFTstash cannot and will not act as an arbitrator to conflict or intermediary to change the ownership of any NFT since the initial blockchain transfer record is relied upon to identify the owner, thus even if a private exchange or sale agreement has been reached between the known owner or any new owner the claiming-to-be new owner will not receive any response from this account and this account will not share who the original owner is of any NFT at any time or for an reason.
This service is manually attended on an occasional basis with little attention provided to users of the service even if processing errors from time to time. If multiple DMs are received for the same subject matter repeatedly the user will experience even greater delay in an action being processed. Delays can and should be expected between the time of a transfer and acceptance of a transfer as well as for response to request for transfers to be sent back.
Users of the NFTstash service should maintain screenshots of the NFT and blockchain address, notes of who the creator or artist is and the date of transfer to be able to receive transfer of the NFT back in a timely manner, especially if the users' knowledge of information retrieval from the blockchain is not understood, or exceptional delay could transpire for return of the NFT.
