I think it's important for the maturity of the Deso NFT space that legacy projects like @Unicat and @Desomon complete their series. I know currently there is not much activity, but hopefully this can be done soon enough.
So far, the only legacy projects I recall that have been completed are:
- @PixelPirates
- @spookies
- @SharkGang
- $RowdyReptilians
- $FUCKEDUPCATS
- @CloutRocks (100)
are there any others?
$DESO is not $1 yet... π
A clear sign of decline is that even the scammers aren't releasing new tokens. Is this the worst moment in $Deso's history?

People thought DeSo was a crypto play.
When it always seemed to me more like a tech play.
It can rocket while crypto is dead.
Why?
Adoption > Speculation (for deso)
Thatβs why I think itβs more like a tech investment.
Canβt wait to see people crawling over each other to get to pay to earn on Focus.
Donβt care about bears and bulls, that will drive price action on DeSo.

π₯ Oh my word: "sh*t is coming" - Silent, but not still!
π 100% committed, sadly π£ 100% disappointed
β½ Big things coming, but I don't do premature launches
π Looking for #WeAreAllDeso volunteers - speak up
Mindful that despite being one of the most consistent active users for 1,472 days since π block 13,366 when I joined - way back on 7th April 2021... (with WELL-over 1 million transactions)...
...I've been awfully absent - and my apologies for this!! π
I don't want anyone thinking I've lost my commitment here - as that would be so far from the truth that you'd start believing in flat earth!
But - I must admit - I've fallen down that trap of being so heads-down buried, and so utterly disappointed at Focus, that I've simply not engaged like I did previously.
However, I'd like to reaffirm that I am 100% committed to DESO as a protocol.
Most of you (real users) know that I'm working on quite a substantial project under the guise of "@BeyondSocial", but, unlike some others, I'm not in the game of releasing a premature project - so let's say "good things come to those who wait".
"Silent, but not still"... I have 5-6 active projects, which will be launching when the time is right.
And... they're quite a mix.
I'm looking for a handful of volunteers - NOT technical people
(...I stress again for the people at the back "NOT technical people" - instead: real end-users) for testing these before launch and (ideally) folk that would be willing to:
- test each app and review:
- website copy, terms, FAQs
- press releases
- elevator pitches, and
- boilerplate social media posts
I'm really missing the everyday engagement I used to have with pretty much every actual user here (let's face it - there's around 50 of us in total) - it simply doesn't feel quite the same now that all of our engagement is on Telegram.
Anyway, please raise your hand and reply if you're willing to share a little of your time to help with the forthcoming launches and give your real, unbiased and honest feedback.
It's the real feedback that I'm after... and those of you already engaged in various beta programmes with me know that I will take it all onboard π

Kindness by @SidXO x @WhaleDShark
A calm figure sits in a hoodie, centered and surrounded by subtly moving grasslands, the Tennessee countryside. The background rotates gently like a heartbeat, and scrolls around them, echoing waves of community energy and being at the centre of the space.
β’The main character sits in place surrounded by frens and characters from collector culture and gaming with slight horizontal sway, mimicking a meditative presence.
β’The grasslands flow in smooth rhythms, dynamically repeating across the width of the screen, speding up or slowing down, even inverting to reverses flow controlled by sentiment.
β’This piece is chill and shows how not 2 fucks are given at the childish trolling or mudslinging in the heat of pure chaos within the web3 space.
β’The entire animation changes based on live sentiment from WhaleDSharkβs latest DeSo post. High sentiment intensifies movement and pulse, while low sentiment slows everything to a still, gentle flow.
This piece embodies kindness through subtle, harmonious motion and synchrony between character and WDS postβkindness as a stabilizing, anchoring force.

So... I just tested ByBit virtual MasterCard. Check here bybit.com
Basically I registered, applied for Virtual card after KYC procedure. Card was approved in about 2 weeks, not sure why so long. I got USDT to my ByBit account that were sent to me via internal ByBit system from another user, so no fees and transaction is instant. You just share your UUID in ByBit system and transaction can be done based on that.
Anyway, I added the card to GooglePay at my phone and paid with it in supermarket, no problem. Exchange rate was same as my bank, even a bit better, there was small fee aka Foreign Transaction Fee (2%). Obviously I can also use it to pay for things online and so on. The only limitation I believe is that I can't take cash from ATM with it, but it's possible to order physical card for only $30. So I will go ahead with it.

For sure @nader should at least feed this document to ChatGPT and ask for help.. Let me quote - "As a general rule, storing personal data on a blockchain should be avoided, if this conflicts with data protection principles."
DeSo is blockchain, so once transaction is made it's there... But you can still limit access to data via API and via GraphQL. Right now if you fetch list of user posts via API you can't get posts marked as hidden, but GraphQL does not have such limitation. Those people who provide access to data via API or GraphQL are responsible.
If you build and run an app, this is your responsibility to comply with European Data Protection regulations. API and GraphQL is another level and who is responsible here? @nader is responsible. He can easily update API and GraphQL in a way that if you "delete" (hide) your profile, apps can't get your data.
On GDPR and Blockchain there are recent guidelines published by European Data Protection Board:

YSK: Whatever you put on-chain π STAYS on the chain
π‘ Just a friendly reminder that blockchain is immutable
π But, what is and what shouldn't be immutable
π Politicians/Celebs etc. "whitewashing" their history
π Individuals wanting to be forgotten?
Content can "marked as" hidden, but not deleted and not forgotten.
Any transaction can be viewed on the block explorer, or through graphQL.
An example of what could happen, e.g.
- User posts a innocuous post
- It gets traction, diamonds, reposts
- They then edit it to be something illegal
(how do the other users feel at that point)
- They then move into a more public-facing/high-profile position and "whitewash" their history
- They hide that post
Interested in the debate this has already sparked.
What are your thoughts?
Replaced the image as @Brootle seemed sensitive to me using his test account for the example. But this example depicts what could happen more succinctly...
