Over the past few weeks I’ve taken the time to become very intimate with the DeSo Ecosystem. I’ve created this basic diagram to showcase the @deso ecosystem (it’s an initial draft).
I’ve taken the time to thoroughly evaluate the ecosystem including:
1. Meeting with some of the with the core team 🤝 2. Meeting with the founders of projects building on DeSo 👷♂️ 3. Technical and fundamental analysis of $DESO 📈 4. Reading through DeSo documentation and strategies 🔬 5. Exploring and using current products 🎮 6. Evaluating growth prospects and growth gaps ⚖️ 7. Diving head first into posting, commenting, blogging and diamonding (lol is that a thing?) 📬 8. Buying a bunch of cool of NFTs 🌅 9. Exploring the on-chain capabilities and noting down ideas ⛓️💡 10. Learning the history including all the glorious wins, the challenges as well as the failures 🩺

❗ ❗Hey guys, I did a very noob thing- I was testing out the create NFT function. So I created the NFT and then going through the various actions, I opted to burn the one and only NFT 😵. I didn’t realize that the post would be deleted. Now here we are lol.
Sorry! This was totally my bad. I've learned my lesson...hopefully.
I've created a new post. If you would like to share your comments there then more people will be able to interact with it. If you do end up posting promise I will take the time to reply.
The onboarding of many new users calls for a paved, smooth path. Persuade them via good campaigns, in Web2 Channels explaining terms like wallets, coins, creator coins, payments for actions, signing contracts when entering apps, etc.
Welcoming them, sending them to learning material once onboarded.
I know this community has some earlier attempts and potential users usable material @DeSoAcademy for example.
Maybe add bubbles top left for that part of the eco system.
This is awesome Maz - the best ecosystem diagram I've seen thus far.
As you share more of your learnings it would be interesting to know how DeSo compares to other crypto ecosystems you are familar with and in what areas you think better to compare to web2.

One big issue for me at the moment, is the @genekeys account that was started by one of the Gene Keys Publishing team is stuck temporarily with a big issue I think many big organisations will have in order to adopt this platform.
The original person starting it, did so to secure the Gene keys name. He has since moved on from the company, and handed over the keys to me. (I am an ambassador, contractor and close friend to the team)
Since he first started it, Gene Keys have become massive around the world, and they have needed to up their online security game big time.
Our problem is two fold. First: - We need a brand new login phrase that the old team member does not know. Ideally would love if the @deso team could transfer the whole account, coin holders etc to a new wallet with new phrase? That is simplicity solution for us.
If this isn’t possible, I will need to contact everyone who bought coins, and go through one by one asking them to sell in the order they bought as best I can, then create a new account and transfer the name over to it that way. This is brutal, but if I have to, will do what I gotta do. 😅
Second: - in order for @genekeys to have their multimedia team cross post over to DeSo, they will need an easy way to give permissions for their members to post, without giving permission to edit account or wallet holdings. Maintaining security at a core level so there is no suspicion on anyone if something goes wrong.
@mossified@nader any advice? Pretty keen to get them sharing here as it compliments my own vision for what I want to actually share more of here as well. ❤️🔥
