I read the book years ago and it really disappointed me. It comes from an historian, yes, but it offers no viable plan to actually implements what he describes. @scottsantens did much more valuable work readable for no price. Disclaimer: I don't advocate for UBI.

Yuck! Any utopian fantasy would require universal acceptance and universal conformity. History teaches that that only comes with tyranny.
