DeSo’s value is as a L1. The value of the ecosystem will hinge on the apps built on it — just as with ETH/BNB. To this extent, external developers need to be empowered to build on DeSo, whether through hackathons, foundation incentives, or direct foundation investment. I have high hopes for Focus, but higher hopes for the DeSo ecosystem if it focused on attracting external developers.
How does someone have over 18k followers on focus and is getting 1-2 likes/post? Am I missing something? @WhaleDShark
Way too much spam on focus. Incredibly powerful app, but at the end of the day people are looking for relavant and personalized content. FOCUS on getting the algo right.
