It might also be worth getting a hardware wallet and linking it to Metamask and signing in that way. Because then you have the hardware wallet which is kinda like a backup, but then your original see too which IS a backup. I have a handful of hardware wallets from trezor, ledger, ellipal, keepkey, etc... It's been super helpful for me. And it keeps my seed safe and secure.
