It sounds good but it's negligible on the total what it will bring. In Europe we also had countries who had this, but it had more downside in the end for the locals in terms of real estate prices, gentrification, pressure on healthcare, public transport, and other services and social inequality. I believe Portugal and Spain have eventually ended the golden visa because of the problems it brings for the locals.
