The talk about apps with a purpose (thus abandoning the overused three-column layout typical of twitter for personal blogs based on cascading posts) got me thinking about a whole range of possibilities that could build on Deso's blockchain and generate revenue for developers as well. These apps I will list, in addition to the aforementioned Reddit, could serve for effective onboarding. The bottom line is to leverage the blockchain to offer services (and thus generate interest) without getting stuck on the concept of personal blogs:

- Messenger app (a simple telegram that allows sending and receiving crypto on wallet) (developer earnings from transactions)

- Pedometer/fitness app (crypto rewards from sponsors) (developer earnings from sponsors of fitness supplements or equipment)

- LinkedIn-like app specifically for work connections (rating systems and likes in diamonds) (developer earnings from sponsors/advertisements)

- "Wikipedia" portal built on Deso (fanbase wiki - wiki on specific topics, there are a lot of "wiki" on internet) (diamond voting system) (developer earnings from developer from donations or other earnings system)

- "Wetransfer" for sending/receiving files built on Deso (decentralized and encrypted fragments) (earnings for the developer from splash screen ad)

- Language learning app with crypto rewards for completed chapters (game learning with sponsorships) (earnings for the developer from sponsors)

- Portal for selling music tracks, purchases in crypto (earnings for the developer from transactions)

- Meme creator app/portal with earnings for users for each creation (rewards on meme virality) (earnings for the developer from percentage portions)
