I think we’ll start seeing more DC outlets in houses. This is the logical progression following more solar & battery deployments.

This is already showing up in leaders like the Tesla Powerwall 3 being DC coupled(input side of battery storage - but similar concept).

Fewer conversions from AC<>DC is more efficient and decreases component cost & maintenance.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about 👉 just imagine outlets that are specifically for LEDs, laptops & battery devices that don’t require this big charging brick!
