Zolochiv Castle, Zolochev, Lviv region, Ukraine.
During its existence it was a fortress, a royal residence, a manor house, a prison, an educational institution. Now it is a museum-reserve, a branch of the Lviv Art Gallery.
It was built in 1634. The castle is a Neogollandic type of defensive structure and belongs to the monuments of the "palazzo in fortezzo" type, that is, it combines the functions of defense and housing. There are two palaces in the courtyard of the castle: the Big and the Chinese.
