Hello people!
@mossified @LazyNina @JacksonDean
We (with @salvajito) are working on Deso integration into our Telegram app with a social algorithm for finding collaboration and barter-exchange partners.
We need to streamline the login process by embedding a login form directly within an iframe in the Telegram Mini App environment. According to the current setup as per your documentation, it involves maintaining a hidden iframe linked to a specific DeSo page for message exchange and signature requests. For user authentication, it requires opening a new page with the login form, which also engages in message exchange.
This process seems somewhat indirect, and we were wondering why the login form and the entire authentication flow cannot be directly embedded within an iframe, thereby providing a more seamless and integrated user experience within the Telegram platform.
We are aware that security and technical limitations might dictate this design choice. However, we would like to inquire if there are any existing or upcoming solutions that might allow for a more direct embedding of the login form within an iframe. Alternatively, we are open to suggestions or clarifications in case there are aspects of the implementation that we might have misunderstood.
