$DESO is not $1 yet... 😉
A clear sign of decline is that even the scammers aren't releasing new tokens. Is this the worst moment in $Deso's history?

So... I just tested ByBit virtual MasterCard. Check here bybit.com
Basically I registered, applied for Virtual card after KYC procedure. Card was approved in about 2 weeks, not sure why so long. I got USDT to my ByBit account that were sent to me via internal ByBit system from another user, so no fees and transaction is instant. You just share your UUID in ByBit system and transaction can be done based on that.
Anyway, I added the card to GooglePay at my phone and paid with it in supermarket, no problem. Exchange rate was same as my bank, even a bit better, there was small fee aka Foreign Transaction Fee (2%). Obviously I can also use it to pay for things online and so on. The only limitation I believe is that I can't take cash from ATM with it, but it's possible to order physical card for only $30. So I will go ahead with it.

For sure @nader should at least feed this document to ChatGPT and ask for help.. Let me quote - "As a general rule, storing personal data on a blockchain should be avoided, if this conflicts with data protection principles."
DeSo is blockchain, so once transaction is made it's there... But you can still limit access to data via API and via GraphQL. Right now if you fetch list of user posts via API you can't get posts marked as hidden, but GraphQL does not have such limitation. Those people who provide access to data via API or GraphQL are responsible.
If you build and run an app, this is your responsibility to comply with European Data Protection regulations. API and GraphQL is another level and who is responsible here? @nader is responsible. He can easily update API and GraphQL in a way that if you "delete" (hide) your profile, apps can't get your data.
On GDPR and Blockchain there are recent guidelines published by European Data Protection Board:

@StarGeezer @brootle @Randhir
Looking for a layer in EU to sue @StarGeezer for 2M euros for violation of General Data Protection Regulation! Please, DM! I pay 15%.
YSK: Whatever you put on-chain 👉 STAYS on the chain
💡 Just a friendly reminder that blockchain is immutable
💭 But, what is and what shouldn't be immutable
👉 Politicians/Celebs etc. "whitewashing" their history
👉 Individuals wanting to be forgotten?
Content can "marked as" hidden, but not deleted and not forgotten.
Any transaction can be viewed on the block explorer, or through graphQL.
An example of what could happen, e.g.
- User posts a innocuous post
- It gets traction, diamonds, reposts
- They then edit it to be something illegal
(how do the other users feel at that point)
- They then move into a more public-facing/high-profile position and "whitewash" their history
- They hide that post
Interested in the debate this has already sparked.
What are your thoughts?
Replaced the image as @Brootle seemed sensitive to me using his test account for the example. But this example depicts what could happen more succinctly...

In case somebody will provide access to original content of my edited and hidden posts.... and if this person is located in EU... I will sue that person for 2M euros.
@deso team refused to update API to return user post that have parent post hash technically making those posts "comments".
THIS IS A WAR!
UPDATE! @LazyNina just gave me a link for GraphQL request to fetch all user posts including comments, so I can play with it... 🫡 graphql-prod.deso.com/?explorerURLState=N4IgJg9gxgrgtgUwHYBcQC4QEcYIE4CeABAAoQDOK5AFACQBmAlgDYr7qkUoBiLbeAGiK0IeMPgBCBDgG0ylcgHkxkggEIAukJH165BCg4BJVNqZ5Kx1AEoiwADpIiRAA5caTVu2Gf+Q0eJ4UhwiKkEE-rr6hsIQUQZC5pY+jBYotg5OzkRIEOLkdo7Z2W6UABIAhuQAFkXFRABGeQR1zgC+dR1IbSACIABuFXiMFQ3MCOQYIJnO9iC++HMcM9lzpfxLhVnFczD6eEgViJsr9URzCDgVzAAqECb6SOSMKIz9CJtzzBUAXgRIjEOc1a2S6xTBRDaAjqcziegMmwAjAAGZHQrKwsJST4gG5GACyAFEAMo3ACC+JIAH0ACIkgDCc3Rs3mqUoSNRjh6bSAA

1. GraphQL is significantly slower than API
2. There is zero documentation on GraphQL

@nader must finally start updating DeSo API, there was no updates for over 2 years! Last update to API was adding support for association transactions.
Post is a post... Quote is a post with a link to quoted post, repost is a post with a link to reposted post and comment is a post with a link to parent post. They index post, quote, repost... but don't index comment, how does this make any sense?

Who on @deso team is responsible for communication with developers?
I want to push updates to @deso backend on Github
@nader @LazyNina establish communication channel for devs, you right now are dictators, nobody can push updates to DeSo backend and you say DeSo is decentralized, how is this decentralized if only 3 people on Earth can update the node code?
Add a flag to POST
node.deso.org/api/v0/get-posts-for-public-key to include user posts that have parent post aka user comments. Update API or else...
Exotica will be here until the end of times 🫡
This is my kind of social media so whether we go viral or not, I’ll stay here in the Kingdom of Desoland so is CyberOwl! I’ll be patient and loyal 😁 and positive. One day will get rewarded one way or another ( not expecting) and it’s tiring whining and being negative. So I’ll be posting more positive contents coz the world is so negative and we don’t need angry negative vibes. Let’s make Deso positive and engaging vibes people, don’t wait and do your part, keep posting 😁🫶🏽🙏🏽😊
Nader is the Jesus of DeSo 🙏
See you in 2000+ years people, keep waiting and keep believing! 🤣

He has risen. Jesus is King
@mossified when ClubHouse on Focus app?
Is DiamondApp still the primarily way for people to interact with Deso?
Or is Focus.xyz the place to go?
Would be cool to see more of a VoiceChat ClubHouse vibe set up within the system instead of having to go to 3rd party sites to find our people...
