This is a decentralized platform.
That means there is no company in between you and other people to monitor the activities you do here. No one has to abide by any guidelines to post any type of content as it will not be taken down or you will not get banned for anything. Here, we have to be responsible and careful while supporting or purchasing something/someone.
There have been many cases of fake NFT artists. You know it, I know it. And everybody is not an expert in figuring out the actual credibility of something. Here is the bare minimum we can all do before buying or promoting an NFT/NFTArtist.
✪ Right-click on the image and click on 'Search Google for image' (not visible in the video). If you find the image already on Pinterest or from a different artist, please report it to me before blocking the account.
On Smartphone - Copy the image address by long-pressing it and then go to google.com/searchbyimage/upload and paste it there.
✪ Go to the person's bio and look for their socials. If you don't find any, avoid the account. If you do find it, do contact them on their Instagram (for example) and verify it is them.
It is your money, you have to use it right.
