The ruins beyond the Warhound Arena stretched into the shadows, their secrets long buried beneath layers of dust and time.

Ribbitz and Gorr moved carefully, eyes scanning the crumbling walls. Something about this place felt different. Like it had been forgotten on purpose.

Torchlight flickered over the symbols carved into the stone, markings that had appeared before, near Korrak’s name.

But this time, they weren’t alone.

On the opposite wall, another set of markings had been hastily scratched over, as if someone tried to erase them.

Ribbitz exhaled a slow stream of smoke. Somebody didn’t want this story told.

Gorr grunted. Then we definitely need to hear it.

They ran their fingers over the erased carvings, barely visible beneath the wear of time. The more they studied them, the clearer the images became.

A warrior, bound in chains.

A Warhound standing not as a beast, but as a guide.

A shattered emblem, broken in half.

Ribbitz narrowed his eyes. Ain’t the same story we seen before.

Gorr studied the markings, then turned toward a large fallen pillar nearby. The cracks in its surface looked intentional, like it had been placed there to hide something.

Ribbitz ran a hand over it, then knocked twice.

Thump. Thump.

That same hollow echo.

Gorr’s eyes flickered with understanding. You hear that?

Ribbitz smirked. Yeah. Now tell me, why does it sound just like the damn arena floor?

The realization hit them both at the same time.

This place wasn’t just ruins.

It was built on top of something else.

Something deeper.

Something hidden.

But where exactly?

That answer would take more than just a lucky guess.
