NodeBitsDAO gives participants the passive crypto reward benefits of running Web3 nodes without the complexity or hassle of managing servers and nodes.

OpenFund’s fully on-chain social and governance features provides NodeBitsDAO an interactive DAO experience unique to the crypto passive rewards space.

By pooling resources into the DAO, $NodeBits DeSo token holders realize the passive crypto reward benefits of running a diversified Web3 node farm with a lower barrier to entry than would otherwise be possible. 

NodeBitsDAO's web3 node farm generates a stream of rewards to be regularly airdropped to $NodeBits DeSo token and NFT holders. 

As DAO funding goals are reached additional Web3 nodes are added, increasing the pool of available rewards for NodeBitsDAO participants.

**Mission:** Our goal is to provide NodeBitsDAO participants a stream of simplified, diversified, sustainable passive crypto rewards by running a Web3 node farm (PRE, Streamr, Plugin etc.). NodeBitsDAO aims to offer a best-in-class fractional node service operating with a high degree of transparency, trust, security and community interaction.

**How it works:**

* NodeBitsDAO core team maintains a farm of Web3 nodes; Presearch, Flux, Gala Music, Streamr, Plugin etc.
* Participants purchase $NodeBitsDAO DeSo tokens during Openfund funding rounds to help grow the NodeBitsDao Web3 node farm.
* Funds collected in NodeBitsDAO funding rounds are used to create additional Web3 nodes as voted on by $NodeBitsDAO DeSo token holders.
* Monthly rewards are determined by subtracting monthly node farm hosting costs from monthly node farm earnings.
* 90% of monthly rewards are airdropped to $NodeBitsDAO DeSo token holders as a daily DeSo reward over the course of the proceeding month.
* 10% of Monthly rewards are airdropped to $NodeBitsDAO NFT holders as a bonus monthly DeSo reward.
* 10% of $NodeBitsDAO DeSo tokens minted in funding rounds go to the NodeBitsDAO core team for project administration and node installation/maintenance.
* Funding round price is driven by rewards: the monthly funding round price is calculated by taking the most recent NodeBitsDAO monthly reward in dollars * .0001, with a floor price of $.01.

**What makes NodeBitsDAO different than other ‘NaaS’ (Node as-a Service) type offerings?**

* NodeBitsDAO is managed transparently through a fully on-chain DAO (powered by OpenFund) where $NodeBitsDAO DeSo token holders are able to vote on the direction of the project through community proposals.
* NodeBitsDAO is running in nodes that provide real world utility such as Presearch, Flux, Gala Music etc.
* Rewards are airdropped in a sustainable way that is not reliant on ‘ponzinomics’ with no unsustainable APR promises. 
* Rewards are airdropped in the form of $DESO and do not create sell pressure on our native token.
* NodeBitsDAO launched with nodes already in place (Presearch) so there were rewards available to be airdropped to NodeBitsDAO participants immediately after the first funding round closed.
* $NodeBitsDAO DeSo tokens can be traded on the DeSo DEX. 
* $NodeBitsDAO NFTs can be traded on NFT markets that support DeSo NFTs.


**Is NodeBitsDAO a pyramid or ponzi scheme?**

No. In a pyramid or ponzi scheme money from new entrants is required to pay existing holders. This is not how NodeBitsDAO functions.

Before a single $NodeBitsDAO DeSo token was minted NodeBitsDAO was gifted a Web3 node farm with nodes already generating rewards greater than their cost to run.

The only way $NodeBitsDAO DeSo tokens are minted is when they are purchased through funding rounds on Openfund.

When $NodeBitsDAO DeSo tokens are minted the funds raised go directly to increasing the amount of nodes in the NodeBitsDAO Web3 node farm.

Funds raised are used to increase the node farm, not to directly pay existing holders.

As long as the node farm produces revenues greater than the aggregate hosting costs there will continue to be rewards available to airdrop to NodeBitsDAO holders.

Our team is dedicated to researching and choosing projects with strong fundamentals that provide real world utility such as Streamr, Presearch, Gala Music etc. 

We maintain a node farm contingency fund in USD that contains enough funds to maintain the NodeBitsDAO node farm for 3 months.

If any node protocol in the farm become unprofitable to run we can conduct a community proposal vote to liquidate the position and pivot to another project.
