Why these ingredients? 👉🏻Ginger: Renowned in herbalism, ginger is packed with anti-inflammatory compounds like gingerols and shogaols, making it an excellent choice for easing arthritis symptoms, improving circulation, and reducing swelling. 👉🏻Bay leaves: Traditionally used in natural remedies, bay leaves stimulate blood flow and relax muscles, offering relief from tension and discomfort. 👉🏻Coconut oil: A great base for any ointment, coconut oil soothes the skin and helps deliver the active compounds from the herbs directly to the affected area.

Ingredients: 5 tablespoons of coconut oil A 5-7 cm piece of peeled and sliced ginger 5-6 crushed bay leaves (Optional) A few drops of essential oil like lavender, orange, clove, or ginger

Method: 1.Combine the coconut oil, sliced ginger, and crushed bay leaves in a heatproof bowl. 2.Melt the oil and herbs together using a double boiler, ensuring low, consistent heat. 3.Once melted, allow the mixture to steep for at least 12 hours to maximise the infusion of active compounds. Reheat gently if it solidifies, then strain and pour the infused oil into a clean jar. 4.For an extra soothing effect, add a few drops of your favourite essential oil. 5.Store the balm in a cool, dark place for up to 3 weeks.
