Legendary guitarist John Sykes died from cancer today at the age of 65. His career was best known for his work with Thin Lizzy and later with White Snake. In 2004 Sykes was one of the "100 Greatest Heavy Metal Guitarists of All Time", ranked by Guitar World. In 2006, Gibson released a limited line of John Sykes Signature Les Paul guitars. #wiki
