Overview

We are excited to announce the launch of BundleDAO!

The DeSo ecosystem is missing a permanent storage solution for their content that maintains a strong link to their on-chain DeSo identity and allows them to store this content by paying in their native $DESO.

BundleDAO gives DeSo users the ability to sign and store their content permanently on Arweave with their native Deso identity. Meaning users can seamlessly use Arweave with DeSo: no need to carry two balances (Deso and AR), no need to switch wallets, no need to switch Dapps, or link identity.

BundleDAO will provide a JavaScript client SDK  to easily upload content via the BundleDAO Node  API.  DeSo users will be able to pay for storage on Arweave through a Derived Key held by the BundleDAO node.  DeSo users can authorize this Derived Key with a spending limit.  

Members of BundleDAO can earn storage reward credit by holding DAO tokens or NFTs.  NFTs will be sold for storage credits and closed beta participation.

Our mission is to allow DeSo users to upload and OWN their creative content permanently and immutably on chain with their DeSo Identity.

How BundleDAO Works

DeSo users can make use of the BundleDAO client library to create bundles of their content, which can include one or more files.  The files or data items are grouped together in a binary format known as a “Bundle” (ANS-104 Binary Bundle Specification).  This “Bundle” is posted to the BundleDAO Node API, which in turn posts it on to the Arweave network on behalf of the DeSo user.  This “Bundle” and data items are either signed by Derived Key held by a BundleDAO Node & authorized by the DeSo user or by the DeSo user themselves. 
In the case of a Derived Key signing, the Access Signature is included as a tag on the Arweave transaction and the Data Item is “sent” to the DeSo user.Users pay for these uploads either by earning storage credit through BundleDAO membership, holding BundleDAO NFTs, or in their native $DESO.
Once posted to the Arweave network, the DeSo user’s content is now permanent, immutable, accessible cross-platform & cross-chain, and always tied directly to the creator.

DAO Rewards

Contributors to the BundleDAO receive storage rewards monthly.  Storage will be split amongst BundleDAO token holders depending on their percentage of ownership. DAO members will also be able to vote on proposals and participate in subsequent raise rounds and participate in private beta.

Tokenomics

25 Million Total Cap, Four Milestone Raise Rounds:

$15k, 3 months of development each

Any amount raised over round goal will count towards subsequent rounds

The BundleDAO team will burn their tokens held equivalent to the amount purchased by the BundleDAO Community

The BundleDAO Team (Art By City) plans to sell or burn tokens to eventually hold only 20%, with the community owning 80%.
