This is a really good question! I still can’t get over the fact that the diamonds don’t show up on focus if I tip from any other node (and vice versa). This is driving me crazy!!! 😵‍💫

diamonds in focus are just *called* diamonds
they are a completely different set of financial (and other) transactions - basically think of focus as being a closed and completely separate app [like facebook or twitter] in regards to:
▶️diamonds
▶️A) gated posts
▶️B) subscription content
▶️the new audio support added today
as none of those are the same in focus and/or the other apps
(audio may work on others in the future)

the gated stuff (A & B) doesn't even seem to be possible to have it work fully outside of focus, so I consider those as "walled garden" (facebook locked away) features. 
i.e. they'll never work outside of focus on DSW/NFTz/Beyond or other future nodes/apps. (only the "preview" content)
😡I don't like the way they've made those work :-(

your diamonds do go to focus users wallets
BUT if the user ONLY uses focus they'll never easily know you sent them (focus ONLY shows users "focus diamonds" in the app)
