Russian employers owe their employees large amounts of money, according to Russian media. The situation continues to deteriorate:
◾️As of January 1 of this year, Russian employers owed their employees just over 500 million rubles ($5.9 million). At the end of February, this amount rose to 1.2 billion ($14.1 million).
◾️The worst situation is at construction sites, where salary delays have increased 13 times. In factories that produce electronic equipment with no military purpose, delays in payments have increased 3 times. Even public utility companies have delays of several months.
◾️Russian media explain that bank loans are getting more and more expensive in Russia, so companies use money intended for salaries instead of loans.
Curiously, Russian media also reported that 61,3% of Russians are "quite happy" with their earnings - a record number.
Russian economy is becoming increasingly militarized. People who work for the military industrial complex earn good (ish) money. As for the rest - the Russian leaders never really cared for their people, anyway.
