Back in March, five relatives of three Finnish soldiers who gave their lives defending Ukraine traveled to Kyiv as part of a trip organized by the Finland–Ukraine National Defense Association.
The group met with Ukraine's Chief of Military Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov who had the chance to express his condolences and had high words of praise for Warriors from Finland:
"So as not to offend anyone, they are very different from soldiers of other countries," Budanov said (meaning that in the most positive way).
One of the mothers said that this meeting "means a great deal" and that Ukraine "acknowledges our sons' sacrifice."
Eternal memory and eternal glory to fallen Warriors.
