Fukujuso blooming in the snow
Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture, Japan

Fukujuso pokes its head out of the snow and blooms. Fukujuso flowers do not produce nectar, but at this time of year when it is still cold, they collect sunlight into the center of the flower and provide warmth to insects, which in return pollinate. Nature is interesting!
