Decided to try oil painting, and not sure I like the oily part lol. I think I should have started with acrylic. Any ideas what to add to the blank space? PS don’t go hard in me, it’s my first portrait after 20 years of not drawing a thing and I kinda like the result 😅 . . . #oilpainting #painting #artist #lifestyle #deso

I can say that you create a watercolor vibe with oil paint.
Brilliant piece of art .
I love this🙌 but if you are starting to get back into your creative flow just play with whichever material feels right for you✨💕
Experiencing all so you can find what you love the most 💕✨
It looks very realistic for a 1st oil painting. There is no secret formula though. Only a ton of practice.
I am playing with acrylic and it's very tricky. I also started playing with Instagram in parallel (for the first time 😆😅😂)
Check out boundless.colors and you will get some self-ecouragement after you see my messy paintings. 🤪
sometimes a blank space is best left.....blank!!
