That’s no moon, it’s a waffle!

Falafel? Well, you tell me! I wanted high protein, low carb, high experience.

Savory herb’n’spice Death Star waffles made with chickpea flour, Greek yogurt, and chicken stock. Used some ground thyme with a blend of cumin, smoked paprika, garlic, onion, and salt. I put them on a rack in the oven to keep warm and prevent them from steaming, retaining the crispness.

Oven baked bacon with my favorite method of laying out the slices on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Insert into oven and THEN turn on to preheat to 400F. By the time it preheats, the bacon is nearly ready - perfectly rendered fat and then easily controlled to your desired level of crispness.
