Return of Crew 9

❓ Does anyone remember 9 months ago when astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams launched on a severely delayed Boeing capsule to the International Space Station (ISS) for what was supposed to only be an 8 day mission?

⭐️ I previously made several post on the reasons for the delays and on what happened that forced the astronauts to have an extended stay.

👍🏼 Well now they are finally coming home!

🚀 Hatch closing is about to begin as I write this, followed by undocking at 12:05 am (05:05 UTC) March 18.

👩🏼‍🚀 If all goes according to plan, astronauts Butch and Suni (along with Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov)…Crew 9…will splashdown at 16:57 (21:57 UTC).

ℹ️ Yesterday, my buddy Andrew brought me a couple of mission patches. He is also friends with Suni and we really !like her personal patch. It shows all the missions and expeditions she has done. It also shows an image of a girl running because in 2007 she ran the Boston marathon in real time while on the treadmill on the ISS. She is the first person to have ever run a marathon in space.
The second patch is for Crew 9 which is the mission she and Butch became a part of.

If anything changes or there are any troubles with their return, I will update this post.
