Then the Town Hall happened and at the "AfterParty" I heard someone that inspires me by being critical and asking tough questions and I was sure they would be willing to bring up my concerns if I shared them!
So I reached out, and being the inspiring individual that they are, they pointed out the importance of me speaking up for myself - they were right so here I am :)
This is some of what was said:
[QUOTE] "Glad to hear you speaking today!
Hope all is well!
I'm not into rocking the boat, but you seem willing to, so...
If Nader is hiring and building, I sure hope he has either:
A. studied this guy's project B. Teams up with him C. Hires him D. Publicly debates him
He was doing decentralized social since about 6 years ago on STEEM/HIVE...
A lot of what I heard Nader say about smart services I heard this guy say years ago?
[I will add links at the bottom]
If you feel bold, please share that link.
I think there's a taboo about bringing up Steemit or HIVE around here since they are already doing most of what DeSo wants to do.
I would love to see the leaders of this movement merge instead of competing!
Enjoy your evening 💜🙏" [END QUOTE]

[QUOTE] "With your encouragement, and Nader's belief in asking forgiveness, I'll do it sometime tomorrow, but as a comment, since I am still deciding what to do with my main account and want to keep my profile feed clean for now.
Yes, I was directly warned in the discord by another person who had been on Steemit and HIVE long-term not to talk about those because he was also told not to.
Apparently, it was interpreted as "shilling another project"...
It's really just, what do you think about this, what can you learn from this, etc..." [END QUOTE]
There, I said it, permanently...
Now here are some things that seem like they should be researched (if they haven't):
WHOM I AM TALKING ABOUT: Andrew Levine @andrarchy Twitter
>>>CONFLICT OF INTEREST DISCLOSURE: I own zero $KOIN, very little STEEM/HIVE, and a very large (to me) amount of DESO. My only interest is in someone figuring out how to get everyone off of centralized tech and onto decentralized community-owned alternatives!<<<
