Many people fail to understand that cryptos represents an expression of a sub-class.
As money, the beginning of banking and accounting represented the ascent of burghers in prosperous cities with many merchants (eg Firenze, Siena), cryptos represent an expression of digital petty burghers.
It probably all started in the Silicon Valley. So Palo Alto instead of Rialto (Venice) or a XIII century republic.
