I personally believe in follow through, communication, and listening on the chain. If someone takes the time to comment something of substance to you they deserve a response and dialogue. With financials intertwined with who we are here. I believe and follow that I won’t take offense to anyone buying or selling my own coin and that we shouldn’t sell our own coin without due notification to coin holders that would be affected and given ample time to pull out if they wish. #MyTwoNanos
Coming to DeSo trying to make a quick buck doesn’t work here. Whales have left and nobody here have the funds to be buying unknown NFTs and creator coins. We collectively figure out what does it mean to be a web3 creator, how it looks and what it takes to be successful doing it. Be gracious to others, be friendly, mean well, stay active and engaging. The time of quick pump and dump has passed. It’s time for hard work, building and shipping and creating and connecting consistently. The real thing will stand the test of bear markets and grow over time.
My unspoken rule on deso is to not waste time with tyre kickers. I've spent too many years with people who were pretending. On so many levels. That was frustrating. What I like about deso is the money thing. You quickly see who's pretending and who's not, by where the money goes. That helps. Because then I know who's genuine and who's not. Pretenders don't spend money. They kick tyres. They don't give diamonds mostly hearts. That's my unspoken rule. Only spend time with generous, authentic people who aren't afraid to spend money. Yet, I also understand people have different budgetary constrictions. Anyway, I'm enjoying the interaction with good people on deso. Much more a community feel than any other social media I've been involved with. Still learning heaps. And not sure about a lot of things like; founders reward, creator coins, and the infinite tiny percentages people promote. Confusing. Life is one big experiment, right? Mystery is important. So I try things out and see what happens. See what people like. That's fun.
I started in #deso a little over 1 year ago, my goal was to sell NFT, get money, it was the gold rush. I learned quickly, I forgot about all that, now I just try to enjoy my content, all my formats are based on the interaction between users, fun surveys, curiosities, nft battles, I watched the chain and it had become a supermarket where everyone tries sell whatever. It changed my perspective and that's why I'm doing what I do. It costs me money, I don't earn anything, but I'm enjoying it!!!
What I've found so far is that while different people say and act in different manners sometimes, ultimately, everyone that is engaged here is doing so because they want to see DESO succeed.
As a result, while disagreements can happen, we can/should do our best to not take it personal as ultimately we all want the same thing.
It's a unique situation since it fosters a collective community, whereas I feel that on web2 social, it's more very selfish (IE how can I personally get the most followers/money/etc).
What are your unspoken rules and behaviors on #Deso ?
With a social media blockchain with the ability to Say what you want & Do what you want I’d really like to know what we think as a community?

Give credit where it is due.
Be it an idea, a quote, whatever. If it's not yours, don't claim it is, or let people assume it is.

I'm not sure this is unspoken but, don't say anything about any shortcomings as you'll just be labeled as FUD
