I heard a peer developer talk about lateral thinking recently. Which is to find a different easier solution to what you’re stuck on.

I applied this today. I have been trying to set up Prestashop on my website for about a year. Recently I’ve been trying to get it to work with api from shopify, hours for many mornings and nights. It has been unending trouble shooting.

Recently I saw there was a shopify button app that generates html. Literally done in 5 minutes…. Sure it doesn’t have all the features but I have my time back. It felt so good to delete that stupid Prestashop folder. I’m going outside to play basketball.

Laterally thinking is fire I’m going to apply this to all sorts of things. Hope it helps you too.
