**Tibet Earthquake Leaves 95 Dead, Over 130 Injured**

⏺A 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck near Mount Everest in Tibet’s Shigatse city, killing at least 95 people and injuring 130.

⏺The quake caused widespread destruction, leaving over 1,000 homes damaged and disrupting power and water supplies. Rescue efforts are underway, with temperatures in the region dropping as low as -18°C.

⏺Chinese President Xi Jinping has ordered extensive search and rescue operations. Tremors were also felt in Nepal and India, though no significant damage was reported there.
