In hindsight, it was inevitable.
Unpopular opinion: the trajectory the world is on leads to the metaverae being wholly centralized.
Big tech and government is too big and too powerful to overcome in a far-reaching, permanent way.
What does that mean?
Less democratized control over the direction of the metaverse. Less privacy. Less equity.
Decentralization is a spectrum that when healthy consists of even more spectrums.
@stet and @diamondapp are on opposite ends of the DeSo spectrum. This is a good and healthy thing to have going on here.
