The history of the Overclout brand is filled with drive, sleepless nights, blind faith, and hope for a bright future. We have invested our soul, money, and a year of work into the project. Web3 is a reasonably new area where people do not have guidelines yet. Our task was not only to show that we are good as developers and product managers but that we can quickly develop ideas and implement technical solutions while preserving the familiar web2 experience for users. It turned out that we were doing it so fast that we were ahead of the future itself.

Unfortunately, the DESO protocol has never been an ideal solution for us; DESO has always been a blocker of our ideas.

As sung in the famous song, "we tried so hard and got so far, but in the end, it doesn't even matter." Overclout is dead… Long live the new Overclout!

Modern decentralized social networks are incredibly dull, especially for beginners. Therefore, we decided to bring a lot of fun to the concept of social networks while retaining all the advantages that web3 gives - the opportunity to earn.

With the updated Overclout, we plan to focus on several aspects:
1. Updated game-type mechanics
2. More opportunities for earning for ALL types of users, not just creators
3. More opportunities to promote your content for creators
4. New unique user retention mechanics
5. Clan mechanics (coming later)
6. Collaboration with other brands and projects with straightforward integration

And now, a small overview based on new mechanics - for each user, we introduce the attribute "energy." Every action on a social network, whether a like, a repost, or creating content, takes away your energy. The only exception will be personal messages. "Energy" has several essential characteristics:
1. Has the maximum value
2. Recovers over time
3. Can be restored instantly by special items
4. Artifacts allow to increase of the value of Energy
5. You have a chance to receive a gift/artifact for each action you perform and the energy you spend

If you are a gamer, then it will be a simple association for you that we have added artifact farming mechanics to the social network, which you can see in various games like World of Warcraft, Lineage, Diablo, etc.
