Germany Votes on Historic Defense Spending Increase
⏺ Germany’s Bundestag is voting today on a major boost in defense spending, a move that could reshape European security as tensions with Russia grow and U.S. support becomes uncertain.
⏺The proposal would remove constitutional borrowing limits, potentially unlocking billions for the military and infrastructure. While Chancellor Friedrich Merz supports the move, opposition from the far-right AfD and far-left Linke could make passage difficult.

It's just unfortunate so many many of the ideas that came true are pure dystopia. 🙄
