💭 Thinking Machines Lab is a new startup founded by former OpenAI CTO Mira Murati

The company will focus on developing tools that "make AI work for the unique needs and goals of people."

Murati has taken the lead at Thinking Machines Lab, while OpenAI co-founder John Schulman has become the Chief Scientific Officer of the company.

Mira Murati left OpenAI in October of last year after six years at the company. Shortly thereafter, reports emerged that she was negotiating with unnamed investors to raise $100 million.
