I'm reminded of a time when I had no faith in anything other than my spoon. A time when I felt no purpose, no aspiration to get better, no hope at all.

I'm forever grateful for that time to be behind me and to have built a relationship with my higher power. I was slow to accept His love but once I did, my life began to have more meaning and I had less desire to find an abrupt end.
