Ok, if Focus isn't going to use the ImagesURLs List to serve images like every other app built on DeSo did from the beginning because that was the way it was designed, then why not just include all images in a focus post into ImagesURLs just so it would be backward compatible for all other apps? Why be gigantic douche bags to all developers of you don't have yo be? ... failed submission.. failed submission... failed to post ..
also this failed to submit because your app sucks.
I think I'm at a crossroad in my life. I spent considerable time building treesocial.app last year. It's a pinterest style app built on deso. My desire to give any more time to it is limited. If I ever do anymore app building I want to make a much smaller project with defined goals. The older I get the more I realize just how little time you get. You have to make hard decisions between things you would like to do. So even if you have a killer idea, you might have to let go. Maybe I will get more motivation I dunno.
Trying to be a better me

Ok. Trying to figure out openfund the moment. What is the difference between my tokens and hidden tokens. Also what is the difference between focus_classic, focus_reservations, and focus tokens? I have a different balance of each.
Focus is key.
What would be the characteristics of a social media app that would be less harmful to society and in particular to children? When people describe the effects that are harmful, many times they speak of impossibke comparisons being made between peoples looks and lifestyles. But, how do you limit these things and still make a compelling app for users?
I think I started a telegram account a few years ago, but never used it. This interview of Pavel Durov the founder of Telegram was fascinating. Maybe I'm just a sucker for a principaled founder.

Wow.
I'm not holding my breath. I've never reached out to Nader, but when I do reach out to @lazyNina, Ive gotten responses.
is @desocialworld ok with someone using their nide? and if so whats the address?
Yes, it's likely the cause.
I wasted a hell of a load of time doing similar - thinking my code or query was wrong when, oh no - the infrastructure is just dead.
Running a node wouldn't help /much/ with this - it was the core identity, graphQL, jwt and media that was the problem - (currently) a single point of failure across all nodes.
For standard API queries (txns, posts, users, etc.) yes - it'd help - but you can just swap across to @desocialworld's API for example (MUCH more reliable than the core nodes have been)
That's why it's important @nader / @mossified / etc. accept, own it, acknowledge and apologise - it's affected every node and every app... think @desofy was down from Friday through to a few hours ago (bet they're delighted!)
...yet they can't spare 30 seconds to post an update or apology.
Listening to Vivek Ramaswamy on Jordan Peterson today, he said something that really caught my attention. He said whether you choose to do a big thing or a small thing, it will take about the same amount of personal work. So why not chose big things?
