Nacho Average was started in 2020 just before the COVID pandemic as a live entertainment company by @ClayPerryMusic. The first event thrown by Nacho was called the Nacho Average Night Show based out of Fort Worth. Once the pandemic hit the show could no longer continue. In the early days of DeSo, members would often meet up on Zoom calls to speak face to face and get to know each other. On one night in particular @AgustinAlmedo @Zopel @RickAndMortyOG and @ClayPerryMusic were on a call when the idea was brought up to use @NachoAverage as the brand to launch a 24/7 Global Zoom call. Over the next 9 months the Nacho Average Call ran 24/7! The call is the longest zoom call in world history!!! In June of last year we raised money to throw a Nacho Average house party in Miami at the first DeSo meet up which was a huge success. As expected, over time the Nacho Average brand has morphed and evolved into many different things. We released our @NachoHeadz PFP NFT project late last year. So far there have been 31 NachoHeadz minted and all 31 have sold! We have launched our initial NachoVerse inside Meta's Horizon Worlds. We have built over 7 @NachoAverage related worlds inside of Horizon as well as a DeSo headquarters which contains a walk through maze explaining what DeSo is and how to sign up! We launched the "NachoHeadz Battle" which gives utility to the @NachoHeadz NFT HODLers!!! As of today we see Nacho Average as a creative content brand, entertainment company, NFT project, social network, and most of all a diverse community of people who for the most part met on the DeSo blockchain!

The next step for Nacho Average will be our biggest yet. In October of 2022 we will be throwing the first ever "NACHO AVERAGE MUSIC FESTIVAL". The festival will be located in Fort Worth, TX and our aim is to use the festival as the keystone event for the first Texas DeSo meet up! 

Phase 1 -

During phase 1 our goal is to raise $100k, this will allow us to secure the venue, book the artists, and hire the team necessary to make sure this event is a success! 

Securing the venue -

Both venues listed have a capacity around 4,000 people 
The current estimate for securing the venue will cost $15-20k

Booking the artist -

Most of the artists listed have a booking fee of around $30-50k 

We will set aside $60K to book artists which will allow us to book multiple acts. 

We will be hiring Smooth Vega (Owner of Premier Live Entertainment) to help with the booking and oversight of the festival which will cost around $5k. Vega has booked and put on some of the biggest shows in the Dallas Fort Worth area over the last decade. 

The DJ will also cost $1500. The plan is to have DJ Michael Watts (Founder of the Swisha House) to DJ the event. 

We will also be setting aside $3k to book a few DeSo acts to come perform. 

We will be using Premier Live Experience to promote the event and make sure that tickets are sold. 

Governance - The governance for this project will operate from a centralized standpoint but the goal is to incorporate as many ideas and thoughts from the community as possible. The core team reserves the rights to make final decisions on all things regarding Nacho Average. There will be many proposals that the core team will create to get input from the community. We need the community involved otherwise no one will show up! So please know we want to know what you think at all times!!!
