This is not a thorough analysis but I like how the first and last lines correspond themselves to perfect clauses, while the rest of the poem inbetween cast a lovebound curse.
it's a sandwich of love almost tender and spiteful. and though it's humorous to view it this way. it was one of the last poems Keats wrote on his deathbed

Even if it's less 'efficient' in the short run it might be worth having redundancies and self sufficiency. Plus as a huge importer why not replace some income taxes with tariffs. Income taxes might be more destructive long term
