My plan for a weekend is to make simple app that let's @deso users to hide all their posts and comments hitting a button... I think I would also need extra functionality to burn and/or transfer out NFTs belonging to account.
So the roadmap is like this:
1. Hide all posts and comments - this week
2. Burn or transfer out all NFTs - some time later
Why I want to do such app. For many people enough is enough and they want to move on. @nader is guilty that BitClout app which is to this day is primary DeSo Protocol front-end app doesn't provide this functionality. It's just a matter of "when" not "if" when some EU regulator will discover apps like @DeSocialWorld and will fine them for not hiding user data on user request. Actually it's easy to do on node level, you just blacklist username/public key and it's done. So I would strongly recomend to @DeSocialWorld to add a form where user can apply to get hidden from their app. But content will still be available on @deso blockchain and accessible via other apps. There is simply no consensus mechanism to ban user/public key across all active nodes. So the only way to do it right now is to go through all posts and comments and hide them one by one.

I said many times that @deso team must update backend API to support "hide my profile", so only authorized profile creator can access it. This can be easily done, same as hide a post, profile gets a flag hidden and not returned.
If you can not delete/hide your content, you are not the owner of your content. Content that exists on DeSo belongs to DeSo Foundation and you as a user is just a manager of that content with limited privileges.
Instead of fixing fundamental DeSo problems on protocol level, Nader wasted 2 years building another UI aka Focus app that nobody asked for. Great strategy of failure in the long run.
Nothing ever disappears from the chain but I still wanna delete my account here (at least the visible part of it)
