This is for my many friends on DeSo who have asked.

👉 Yes, enough funds raised I ended the fundraiser April 20, FINALLY got that long overdue haircut & passport-ready photos done, & I was supposed to be booking my life-saving flight home on the Monday, April 24, 2023, to then go to the Canadian Consulate in Dallas (an hour's drive away), when the DeSo Hard #Fork engaged in the blockchain & caused no one able to exchange 💲DESO via #Coinbase.

💲DESO was around the 💲15 mark at the time, but since it went to the 💲10 range once we could exchange again (a few days ago?), it meant I didn't have enough to get home with it having dropped in value by 1/3 of what was needed.

What's worse...
🤷‍♂️ Continued offers of assistance like from Edo @edokoevoet, Owner-Creator of #DeSocialWorld (thank you so much for giving a damn, Edo!), to receive the DESO on-chain from me & he could bank-wire the collateralized US$ funds to help...
~ But that could not work with all that happened.

... That offer came from Edo just as I learned CashApp had suspended my account on May 5th because I don't have valid Government issued ID to do the #KYC bull-crap!
(I did some #BTC trades = got flagged by the IRS)

No ID, means no Bank Account as well...
~ This left me no way to "receive" the funds even if sent to B.K.s bank for me as was suggested, & with no public transit where I live (Texas 76085) & the only vehicle we had here broken down, not even things like Western Union money transfer services would have helped since the vehicle broke down...
~ & I'd be driving without a license if I had the vehicle!

There are so many factors involved it's insane!

All hinging around ID!
~ Yes, I can get ID, a 15-day Temporary Passport from the Canadian Consulate in Dallas, TX, when I go apply for it with "Proof of Travel" in-hand, which can be the online purchase of the Plane Ticket I get a "receipt" for on my phone, that I now can't get without enough funds, & without the ID I can't even get an Uber or Lyft ride to get all this crap done!

Once I can get the Plane Ticket "Receipt" to then apply for the Passport, I go back to my residence & sit for 3-days, then go get the Passport when the Consulate has it ready, THEN go right to the Airport to live there (with my cat) until the flight-time, show them the Passport to be able to get the Boarding Pass to get home, & when I land in Vancouver International Airport get another Uber or Lyft to the far side of North Vancouver where I have a place to live, at a cost of about 💲400, then all is good.

I start the #Cabometyx cancer drug this morning, Monday, May 29th, for two weeks, which means I won't be able to Travel ANYWHERE for 3-weeks again until Monday June 19th, because this cancer drug's side-effects being so brutal...
(They have to wear-off for a week) ...
~ I'll suffice it about the side effects to say, the body thinks it needs to get rid of your intestines, not what's in them.

Thus, I coined the #ForkOfDeath hashtag in place of the #GetKenHome one that so many helped me with. Now, I just DeSo, sleep when forced, & DeSo some more.

But I can still survive with Emergency Hospitals.
~ I start the last of 3-bottles of the #cancer drug I had saved up today, that's now down to a 3-month supply from the 4-months' worth I had saved up because of the Hard Fork locking up the funds.

Even though I will run out before the 3-Month Application Wait Period for my Medical coverage in Canada (no way around it), plus a 4th Month waiting to get a new cancer Doctor referred... to then have them order the new CT, MRI & PT Scans to get done.

So, AFTER the 4 to 5 months wait, I can get the Cabometyx again (made in Canada), there is always the Emergency Hospitals I can call an ambulance to get to in any serious situation that pops up, but these medical facilities can't prescribe or get this still experimental drug that keeps me alive. Only a high-level licensed Oncologists (cancer doctor) authorization held by a few can get it done.

AND this last week CashApp at least has reinstated "cash-use" & transfers on my card with them (reactivated but with the #crypto functions turned off), so I can at least operate with that now.

But with the extra costs of the month + a week (so far) that I have been forced to stay here, just to live the funds I did have to get the rest of the expenses paid (e.g., "taxi" services to get all the prep-work done, pay 💲65 the Consulate charges for the passport, etc.), I'm now scarily down short on funds there also.

The odds are in my favor for one reason, I have a tenacity & guile that will never give up, but I do need help to pull this all off, my DeSo Fam being the only one I have, all my R/L family long gone & with 2 baron wives in my past, I have no kids.

How was your day?

For now, I just DeSo, sleep when forced, DeSo some more & I build in Your 3D Universe for you all, knowing at least I will be able to leave it, the longest running #metaverse technology I've built in for over 25-years (it's worth millions!) in all of your hands as my legacy. But I would like to add at least the #EndWorldHunger part that I have to the mix for all as well...
~ Like, that would be priceless!

In closing this update...
~ There's one last thing to address.

Many have asked "what if" I crash-n-burn?
👉 Fam, my first company online had the slogan "We help smart people plan ahead."

That said, I already made my 2 closest friends on DeSo my beneficiaries back in 2022, so if I was to become one with the cosmic dust, they have absolutely everything needed to carry on my accounts, #CreatorCoins, full access to keep Your 3D Universe running & everything that has anything to do with DeSo or you here with me on it; nothing has been missed or left out.

So, if I don't make it, even those who get their free 3D Citizen account will still be the Founder 3D Citizens of it all, since I don't need to be here for it to continue for eternity either...
