US Public Marketable Debt Outstanding (USPMDO) is the total value of marketable securities, such as Treasury bills, notes, and bonds, issued by the US federal government to finance its deficits, which can be bought and sold in secondary markets.
Found this to be a useful tool for tracking US Recession probabilities.
