Looks like we won't be going forward with Cast3. There was a real shot at this new product direction making a meaningful impact on the DeSo ecosystem, but guess we'll never know.
Don't expect too much more from us on the dev side here going forward. While we stuck it out longer than most, it is pretty clear to us now that the juice isn't worth the squeeze for outside devs here.
We will always be Bitclout OGs and love and support this community - we learned so much here and are so appreciative to the DAU that showed up through it all with us.
Will certainly be hitting people up going forward, keep in touch ;)

You know what's kinda wild? We could have had native promotions live on Bitclout since September, and could have them tomorrow with the click of the merge button...

So I think at this point, the advantages are there are more tools at your disposal.
And your content shows up across all apps in the ecosystem.
So you arguably have an amplified network effect when we get to 50,000+ DAUs.
And by then, I would assume we have more apps creators can leverage to get noticed.
What if you reinvested funds you made here to run ads on web2 platforms to build your audience here?
We’ve always liked to keep things understated.
Underpromising and over delivering is more our style.
