This historic event was Palm Sunday. It was the first time Christ allowed Himself to be "publicly" worshiped. A few days later the Jews let Barabbas live and crucified Christ.
Whether the Rapture, the 2nd Coming, or the Millennium comes next, is not important. I just don't want to be "that guy" who causes Jesus to weep because I was not living joyfully in Him and ready for His return.
Amazingly, Daniel told the Jews almost 600 years prior, that it would be exactly 173,880 days from the time Artaxerxes gave the decree to Nehemiah on March 14, 445BC to rebuild the city walls of Jerusalem until the day Jesus would be crucified.
Prophecy matters to me.
I will be going in a slightly different direction moving forward. I will summarize the remaining chapters in Revelation, as Chapters 2 and 3, that I have already covered, are the most important for those who have not yet been called to be with the Lord.
The Seal, Trumpet, and Bowl judgements in Chapters 5-18 occur during the last 7 years on earth as we will know it. There is a good chance they all occur in the last 3 1/2 year period known as The Great Tribulation.
Revelation 19:14 Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. 12 His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. 13 He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.
The rider on this white horse is not the antichrist, but the true Christ. He is coming to judge those who oppose Him, His Holy City and His Holy People. This is the 2nd Coming, which I believe comes after The Rapture. The "armies in heaven" that are with Him are you and I, as believers. How awesome and crazy is that?
